This Friday, May 6th, Cleveland is in store for a night away from the norm. Local creative, Jae Andres, invites you to A Cleveland Renaissance, Man. A collaboration of imagery, music, and craft cocktails, this night promises to be a sensory salvation to your usual Friday night out. The evening is being housed at B Side Liqour Lounge and Arcade on Coventry in the soul of the city’s eastside. Andres is a millennial on a mission, bringing an unapologetic freshness to everything he touches. With a strong commitment to bringing progress and beauty to Cleveland’s new dawn, Andres has a gift that I urge you to graciously receive. He is a freelance photographer, who has lent his skills to countless Pressure Life articles. He is also a local DJ at the forefront of bringing the progressive sounds of the underground to a speaker near you. Andres runs his own music blog, The Underground Weekly, with a focus on bringing new issues of the most unconventional, bass blazing, dance music that can be found in the dark catacombs of the internet.

Although, Andres is definitely a Jae-of-all-trades, Friday’s event will feature the showing of an original portrait series of our city’s most diverse millennials shot and curated by Andres. As well as a DJ set from the Cleveland Renaissance Man with opening support from other local DJ, Brian Blackbird. The craft cocktails will be served up on the patio by After Hours Cocktails. The one-of-a-kind libations will be brought to you by El Jimador Tequila for some serious, post Cinco de Mayo vibes. There will be no cover charge to enter Jae Andres’ renaissance mind, he just asks that you bring open eyes, open ears, and an extra pair of socks.
