Tom Mulready of Cool Cleveland is emceeing several of Fashion Week Cleveland’s events this year. “People don’t realize, [Fashion Week] is as educational as it is entertaining. And it stimulates the local economy.” He says he is most looking forward to hosting the black-tie reception this Saturday, May 7.
Liz, 36, from Shaker Hts., was spotted celebrating with her date in shimmery black, but says she is looking forward to seeing “what’s new for spring, new colours, and seeing new designers.” The best part of Fashion Week for her? “Watching the city come alive!”
Rob, 48, and Nicholette, 44, both of Cleveland, are attending their first Fashion Week in the CLE. “High fashion, high fashion, high fashion!” says Rob excitably. He looks quite dapper in a gun-metal gray suit vest, pale blue shirt and maroon tie – he knows his shit. His words of wisdom? “You can always tell a true fashionista by their shoes, and only poseurs wear wedges to Fashion Week.”
Hayk, 33, is originally from Armenia and now lives in Cleveland. He came to The Vault because he loves to dance and expects to do plenty of that throughout Fashion Week. It wasn’t long before Rob, Nicholette and Hayk all disappeared onto the dance floor.
Fashion Week’s next scheduled event is an outdoor film showing of Valentino: The Last Emperor, a behind-the-scenes documentary about the world-renown designer, scheduled to begin at dusk in the West Park at Crocker Park in Westlake, so bring a picnic and blanket!
