What a wonderful time to be alive in Cleveland!
Not everywhere has one of the coolest vintage bowling alleys in the country. Even less places have cool vintage bowling alleys that host Prohibition themed speakeasy nights. And even less cities have cool vintage bowling alleys hosting Prohibition themed speakeasy nights that also featuring old timey wrestling!
So get out your singlets and wax your handlebar moustaches, we’re going Vaudeville, baby!
On May 19th, Mahall’s Twenty Lanes Bowling Alley on Detroit Avenue is hosting a Speakeasy Spectacular! A throwback themed night of vintage cocktails and old-school professional wrestling presented by El Carnicero and Beardology.
Harkening back to those bawdy prohibition times, the night will feature performers of every stripe and size including, Appalachia moonshiners, Anti-saloon politicians, pugilists, luchadores, and many more international competitors stepping into the squared circle which will take center stage. All culminating in the main event between “MDogg” Matt Cross vs. Matt Classic!
And if that wasn’t enough… man, ya’ll are greedy!
But they’ve still got more!
In addition to sweet threads everyone will be wearing, the signature vintage cocktails they’ll be serving, the amazing wrestling performances you’ll be witness to, PressureLife’s newest BFFs, Pinch and Squeal will be in attendance! Featured on the cover our latest issue, Pinch and Squeal will be bringing their unique and absolutely charming selves to the event, singing, joking, accordion-playing, and all together hamming it up.
The PressureLife crew will be there as well, talking with the wrestlers and some fans as well. So stop by and say hi when you see us!
The doors open at 7pm with the show beginning at 7:30pm. Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. To get your tickets before they sell out go to www.oldewrestling.com/tickets
